Maciej Rauch
Currently lives and works art in Warsaw (Poland). He creates in the style of magical realism and surrealism, painter, graphic artist, creator of installations, video clips and experimental music. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. He obtained his diploma in 2012. He represented the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk at the Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, in Istanbul, Turkey, (5th International Student Triennial, 2010). Scholarship holder of the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship for the Creator of Culture (2017). Finalist of Hestia's Artistic Journey (2011), Finalist of the 2nd Pomeranian Art Triennial in the Painting category at the State Art Gallery in Sopot (2016). Included in the national ranking of the best Polish contemporary artists Kompas Young Art in 2022 and 2023. His last one is bigger premiere exhibition, "Inne Dni/The Other Days", could be seen at the Center for Contemporary Art at the Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw. He was the winner of the audience award for the most interesting exhibition in the "Project Room 2021/2022" competition, organized by CSW Zamek Ujazdowski in Warsaw. His selected paintings could be seen from November 17, 2023 to February 25, 2024 at the Zachęta National Art Gallery in Warsaw.
In parallel, he creates two series of oil paintings: "On the other side" and "Alien Boys" He took part in numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He has received many awards and distinctions.
